A major Japanese electronics manufacturer uses a project team system to carrying testing work for the software environments that come with the computers that they make. When the client transferred the management of this work to their Chinese base, we provided a wide range of services, including setting up and operating the offshore center, as well as training staff. These services are operated using a team-based organization structure whereby the number of people required can be adjusted flexibly according to the number of models being supported.
Thanks to the work efficiency solutions that we have proposed, the quality of the entire work process has improved, and the client has been able to achieve a high level of work quality, while still meeting strict delivery deadlines. As a result, the client has succeeded in consolidating the testing work for all of its global models in China, and the position of the offshore center has been established. During peak times, these tasks can be supported with teams of as many as one hundred people, and by outsourcing these volume tasks to us, the client has been able to reduce its management costs while also allowing its own employees to focus on upstream tasks.
